ZOOZi - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to ZOOZi. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ZOOZi platform, website, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform"). By using ZOOZi, you agree to these Terms.

1. About ZOOZi

1.1 ZOOZi is a peer-to-peer platform that connects:

  • "Buyers" who express interest in obtaining products from other locations, and
  • "Flyers" (travelers) who may agree to purchase and deliver those products.

1.2 ZOOZi does not sell, purchase, store, or transport goods. ZOOZi only provides matching, communication, escrow, and trust services between Users.

1.3 Any agreement for purchase or delivery exists solely between Buyer and Flyer.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old.

2.2 You must provide accurate identity and contact information.

2.3 One person may hold only one account unless authorized.

2.4 Users may be required to complete identity verification before using certain features.

3. Roles & Definitions

  • Buyer: User requesting an item and offering a reward.
  • Flyer: User traveling who may deliver an item.
  • Interest: Non-binding expression by a Buyer that they would like an item.
  • Match: When a Flyer selects a Buyer and the Buyer confirms.
  • Escrow: Temporary holding of Buyer funds until delivery confirmation.

4. How the Platform Works

4.1 Buyers may post or select items and click "Show Interest."

4.2 Flyers may post trips and select items using "Zoozi It!"

4.3 A transaction is created only when:

  • Flyer selects a Buyer, and
  • Buyer confirms within the required time.

4.4 Until confirmation, all interests are non-binding.

5. Payments & Escrow

5.1 Buyers deposit the agreed reward into escrow at confirmation.

5.2 Funds are released to Flyers after Buyer confirms successful delivery.

5.3 ZOOZi may hold or refund funds in cases of:

  • Non-delivery
  • Prohibited items
  • Fraud or safety concerns
  • Mutual cancellation

5.4 Fees may be deducted as shown before confirmation.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Before Pickup

Either party may cancel with minimal or no penalty.

6.2 After Pickup

Buyer cancellations may result in partial or full loss of reward.

Flyer cancellations may affect trust status and earnings.

6.3 ZOOZi may cancel any transaction for safety or policy reasons.

7. Prohibited Items

The following must not be requested or delivered:

  • Illegal or regulated goods
  • Age-restricted products
  • High-value electronics or jewelry
  • Weapons, drugs, tobacco, alcohol
  • Dangerous or restricted materials
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Any item violating airline, customs, or local laws

ZOOZi may refuse or cancel any transaction involving prohibited items without refund.

8. User Responsibilities

Buyers must:

  • Provide accurate item descriptions
  • Comply with import laws and duties
  • Respond within confirmation windows
  • Inspect items upon delivery

Flyers must:

  • Legally purchase items
  • Transport items in compliance with all laws
  • Deliver to the confirmed Buyer only
  • Decline suspicious or prohibited requests

9. Trust & Ratings

9.1 ZOOZi uses internal trust signals based on:

  • Successful deliveries
  • Cancellations
  • Disputes
  • Timeliness
  • Behavior and communication

9.2 ZOOZi may limit features for new or high-risk accounts.

9.3 Manipulation of ratings is prohibited.

10. Disputes

10.1 Users must first attempt resolution via chat.

10.2 If unresolved, either party may open a dispute.

10.3 ZOOZi may request evidence including:

  • Photos
  • Receipts
  • travel proof
  • messages

10.4 ZOOZi decisions are final for escrow release.

11. Customs & Laws

11.1 Users are solely responsible for:

  • Customs declarations
  • Taxes and duties
  • Import/export compliance
  • Airline rules

11.2 ZOOZi is not an importer, exporter, or courier.

12. Fees

12.1 ZOOZi may charge:

  • Service fees
  • Escrow fees
  • Dispute fees
  • Withdrawal fees

12.2 All fees are shown before confirmation.

13. Account Suspension

ZOOZi may suspend accounts for:

  • Fraud
  • Prohibited items
  • Abuse
  • Multiple accounts
  • Chargebacks
  • Unsafe behavior

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 ZOOZi provides the platform "as is."

14.2 ZOOZi is not responsible for:

  • Item quality
  • Authenticity
  • Customs seizure
  • Personal disputes
  • Travel changes

14.3 Maximum liability is limited to platform fees paid.

15. Privacy

15.1 Users consent to data collection necessary for:

  • Matching
  • escrow
  • safety checks
  • dispute resolution

15.2 Personal data is processed according to the Privacy Policy.

16. Communication Rules

Users must not share:

  • External payment requests
  • Off-platform deals
  • Personal harassment
  • Illegal proposals

All transactions must remain on ZOOZi.

17. Modifications

ZOOZi may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of UAE.
